I would like to keep you informed on what’s being planned by NEURISA, and to get connected with you to gain your feedback.

1 - Ignite Spatial Hartford
The second Ignite event that NEURISA is sponsoring will be at the Constitution Plaza, Hartford CT on June 22nd. The Call for Presentation has gone out. If you have an idea to share, please submit a 5-minute presentation by sending your topic proposal to Randi Pickford, rpickford@hartford.gov, or by calling her at 860-757-9470.

2 - NEURISA Annual One-Day Conference
The NEURISA Day Conference will be held on Oct 3rd at the Old Sturbridge Village, MA. We have started the conference planning process. To help us develop program tracks that are useful, helpful, informative and entertaining, I would like to hear from you what areas you think we should focus on. The Call for Presentation and Call for Vendor Exhibition will be out shortly. Be sure to look for them!

3 - Special Achievement Award
This is the first year that NEURISA is introducing the Special Achievement Award (SAA). The nomination is open and the interactive form is available on our website (www.neurisa.org). Please take the time to recognize your colleagues and friends who through the use of geospatial or other information technologies, have made a significant contribution that greatly enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization; or realizes a significant return on investment; or greatly improves the quality of services or lives.

4 - Ignite Spatial Burlington
Please make sure you save the date, Sept. 22nd for Ignite Spatial Burlington at Burlington VT! More details to come.
