Here's an inquiry from a student who contacted me. I've pasted her resume in below (any odd formatting is my fault):
Hello Kim,
My name is Elena Cohen, and I am a currently a junior geography major with an emphasis in GIS at Clark University. I emailed you last summer about possible GIS-related opportunities in Massachusetts. I ended up volunteering for a GIS technician at the U.S. Geological Survey in California last summer, but this summer I am considering staying on the East Coast. I was wondering if there any GIS-related internship or volunteer opportunities within your department, or if you were aware of any opportunities in your colleagues' organizations. I am attaching a current version of my resume.
Thank you,
Elena
